Hey there! Pixelatedstars.net is looking for a few staff members to keep this site active and helpful! So if you're really good with writing comprehensive tutorials, trustworthy, experienced, and friendly, then maybe you should read on!
This is what I'm looking for in a staff member:
I'm looking for someone who's very good with writing helpful tutorials, who explains every step clearly, and hopefully uses images to help readers understand what to do and where to click, if it's needed. Proper spelling skills is a must as well, because I'd like everyone to know what you're trying to say. if u rite lyk dis, dunt bthur aplyin.
I also want someone who I can trust very much to write their own original tutorials, and also hopefully trust with login information in the future. So if I know you already, that would be awesome.
If you become a staff member on here, I really don't expect a lot from you, because you most likely already have a site of your own to take care of. I just need about 5-10 people who are willing to write a tutorial every month or two, just so that we can keep this site active.
You should also be friendly, just because no one likes working with a no fun =P This isn't a super serious site, so I don't expect you to have a professional take on everything you do. Just have fun with it! This is a great oppertunity to get to know other staff members and I, so yeh, just be friendly to others ^_^.
Just as a note, not really a rule, I'd really like if I got a member or two that are really good with Photoshop, PHP, and maybe anything else that isn't already on this site. I only have Photoshop Elements, so that really limits what I know in regards to that program.
And that's all I can really think of. These guidelines are subject to change at any time without notice, so be aware of that. Anyways, if you think you have what it takes to be a staff member on here, then go ahead and apply! I will also need an example of one of the tutorials you've already written, just so I can see the quality of your tutorials. Where it says 'Tutorial Example', you'll either have to put the direct URL of your tutorial, or where it's located on your site. All fields are required.
